Seven Swans participated in the 10^th Annual North American Rally to the Caribbean (NARC) this past November. The rally started in 2000, when the skipper organizing the migration of the Swan Charter fleet from Jamestown RI to Anse Marcel Sint Martin, invited other boats to join them after the Caribbean 1500 abandoned the Newport start  and moved to Norfolk.  This year there were also five boats from Canada and one Dutch entrant, the Swan 46 Blue Fin.  Fado Fado was flying the Irish flag, (and ballasted with 18 kegs of beer) although the owner has been living in NYC for many years.  The Caribbean 1500 had only one Swan, but a winner with Clover III on top of  Division One.

The swan Owners Assocaition (www.swanowners.com) and the www.classicswan.org , two separate associations of Swan owner groups are establishing web site links and will exchange information important to Swan owners in the future.

The 6^th Annual Swan Rendezvous at the Bitter End Resort in the British Virgin Islands was a resounding success. Fifteen Swans, twice last year’s count, representing the USA, Italy and Great Britain participated.
